About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to write.  Not everything written over the years has been beneficial to the reader, but always necessary for me, the writer.  (Many of my musings never even shared with another soul.)  My story, while full of happiness and joy, is also intertwined with a deep sadness.  Through the sudden unexpected death of our son, God has been walking me through a journey of healing.  "My Beautiful Garment" title was born out of that journey,  through a  comment made to me from a friend named Beth.    Beth had read something I posted earlier that day and commented to me one evening at church, "it is a beautiful garment that you wear".   She was such an encouragement that night and we only spent moments together.  She reminded me that I was indeed cloaked in God's grace, wrapped in His beautiful garment fashioned specifically for me.  Words are powerful. Words can bring life or they can bring death, so let's handle them with care.   I hope you gain nuggets of encouragement through our journey together.  I am happy you stopped by and look forward to connecting with you!
